Will We Survive? is te zien op de Beeldengalerij in Haarlem.
Terwijl de mens in wetenschap en technologie zich enorm ontwikkelt, is de mens vergeten zijn eigen afvalproductie te verduurzamen.
Deze paradox is vertaalt in een sculptuur van opeengestapelde gecoate verpakkingsmaterialen die gevormd zijn tot een familie van vier robots.
Door het recyclen van het verpakkingsmateriaal wordt de nadruk gelegd op de maakbaarheid van de mens en zijn wereld.
Wat is de haalbaarheid van het bestaan van deze robots wanneer de wereld tegelijkertijd door de mens die deze robots ook ontwikkelt, in haar opwarming ten onder gaat? Will We Survive?

Will We Survive? is on view at the Sculpture Gallery in Haarlem.
While humanity makes great strides in science and technology, it has forgotten to make its own waste production sustainable.
This paradox is translated into a sculpture made of stacked, coated packaging materials, shaped into a family of four robots.
By recycling the packaging materials, the work emphasizes the human ability to construct both themselves and their world.
But what is the viability of these robots’ existence, when the same humanity that develops them is simultaneously causing the world to collapse through global warming? Will We Survive?
